My Fellow Bowlers,
As I prepare to enter my second term as President of the Syracuse Bowling Association, I would like to take this opportunity to bring attention to some items. The Men's Association in conjunction with the Women's Association, will be mailing a newsletter to every sanctioned bowler in either Association. These newsletters will be mailed in August, October, January and March. They will contain articles on Tournaments, Functions, Entry Blanks, Important Dates and any information the USBC has to offer.

We have moved our Association (City) Tournament back to our usual time of year. It will be held in April and May of 2009. Also, this season, there are some new directors that will be around to introduce themselves and help with any problems you might have.

Our office is open for any questions or problems that might come up during the season. Please feel free to call our Association Manager, myself, or your bowling
center representative for assistance. Also, you can log onto our web site at
www.syracusebowling.com for information.

I ask that my fellow bowlers participate in our local tournaments. We conduct these for all of our memberships and the success of these tournaments depends upon your support and participation. There will be some new incentives in our Association (City) Tournament. Look for these and tell your teammates and league members about them.

I am honored to serve as your President and I am looking forward to a successful
and rewarding season for our Association and the Bowling Community.
