A long time participant in local classic leagues, David has a high average of 232. He has enjoyed respectable finishes in over twenty S.B.A. championship events including the 1994 All-Events title with a score of 2198 and also the Singles title with 781 the same year. In 1990, he won the League Officers tournament with a score of 745 and he also has a second place finish in the Herald Masters tournament. David has a second and a third place finish in the U.S. Open local qualifying tournaments and for several years held the national mixed trio record 2282 with John Scaia and Freida Gates. Over the years David has bowled many award scores and he leads the Syracuse Bowling Association by rolling fifty-three scores so far. They include ten 800+ series, twenty-nine 300 games, twelve 299 games and two 298 games.
