Few men in bowling commanded more respect than Frank Easterly. A Syracuse University Law School graduate in 1935, Frank went into business at Sawmiller Fuel Company and was a member of many powerful sponsored teams for many years. This team won the City League in 1964-64 and again in 1973-74. Even though Frank was an excellent bowler and sponsor, he was much more valuable as an officer and a leader where his judgments were always held with the highest regard. Frank was a president of both the City League and the Post-Standard League and served many years as a director of the Syracuse Bowling association.
