Dominic Mangicaro was President of the Syracuse Bowling Association during the 1972-73 bowling season. He served as an officer of at least twenty-five leagues as president, secretary or treasurer. A capable statistician, Dominic was willing to serve with his hands as well as his head and even set pins during a shortage of pinboys in one New York State tournament. He worked on city, state tournaments and was an able worker for success in the A.B.C. tournaments that Syracuse hosted. Dom worked with the Herald Masters tournament from the start and worked to aid young bowlers. He served with the local American Junior Bowling Congress from its beginning and he was an able member of many committees in helping bowling projects.
