Nicholas Pirro was an important member of the group that worked hard and long to bring the A.B.C. tournament to Syracuse in 1935. Associated with his father in Pirro & Sons Funeral Home after graduating from Christian Brothers Academy in 1922, Nicolas was very active in local politics as well as bowling. Pirro served as President of the Syracuse Bowling association in the 1932-35 season.
