“Buddy” has been an outstanding bowler in Syracuse for many years. He has consistently maintained an average over 200 for many years with his highest being 229 for the 1994-95 bowling season. During his career he has bowled many 300 games and has a high series of 827. “Buddy” bowled on many strong teams which won many league titles and also held many scoring records.
In 1985, he won the Syracuse Bowling Association singles title with a score of 773 and also won the all-events title shooting a nine game score of 2142. He was a member of the New York State team champion, Creno & Kelly Pro Shop, which bowled a score of 3120 in 1989. In 1995, he bowled with the Creno’s Bowl Mor Lanes team which won the Syracuse Bowling Association tournament. “Buddy” teamed with Bob Gray to win the Van Wie Doubles in 1986 and in 1989, he was a member of the Barbagallo’s team which shot an association record of 3641. In that score, “Buddy” had an 813 series. Presently “Buddy” is among the leaders in shooting consecutive 600 series in the same league. He did this between 1993-1996, when he had 80 consecutive series of over 600.
