Joe Creno was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2008 as an outstanding bowler. He has spent his whole life around bowling and has participated in all facets of the game. Joe was an outstanding bowler, a bowling center proprietor for ten years, a bowling pro-shop owner for thirty-eight years as well as an outstanding ambassador of the game of bowling. He competed in twenty ABC tournaments as well many state and PBA tournaments.
Some of his bowling accomplishments include 300 games, 800 series, “King of the Hill” on Syracuse Bowls television show, 2nd high qualifier behind Earl Anthony in Portland, Oregon PBA tournament. Joe was a member of many “City League” and “Post-Standard Classic League” championship teams. He was on two New York State championship teams with “Barbagallos”. Joe’s highest average was 218 in 1978.
