Al has been active in bowling in the Syracuse Bowling Association since the 1930s. He has been a team sponsor and bowler in the Greater Syracuse League for over sixty years. For almost thirty years, he has organized squads and taken teams to the world famous Peterson Singles Classic in Chicago. Al also loves horses and owns six of them. He was a member of the Onondaga Harness Horsemen’s Association and served on their Board of Directors.
