Art has averaged 200 or better thirty of his forty years in bowling. His lifetime average is 206 and his high average is 222. In 1970, he finished in fourth place in the A.B.C. singles with a 716. He has been on fourteen championship teams in the City League, the Post-Standard League or the Syracuse Major Classic League. Art was the Herald Masters champion in 1967 and the runner-up in 1974.
