Frank Cutri is known for getting clutch strikes or big games when needed rather than hold a high average. He was co-owner of the Syracuse Bowlers Pro Shop with Bruno Leonardi. He was the first Syracuse representative on the statewide “Utica Club” bowling television show in 1960. He won the Herald Masters tournament in 1970 and again in 1973, while also finishing in second place in 1972.
