Danny was a charter member of the 700 Club. In 1953, he was the Syracuse Bowling Association All-Events champion and along with his brother Lenny they were also the Association Doubles champions. He represented Syracuse on three different occasions in the National Match Game championships. While bowling in the Post-Standard Classic League, he had the high average and also was on three championship teams in that league, Genesee Beer in 1953-53, 1955-56 and 1956-57. Danny bowled more than thirty seven 300 games in either practice or in exhibition matches.
