David is a two-time winner of the Herald Masters, in 1988 & 1989. He is also won the Van Wie Doubles with partner Frank Lusk. .In 1996, he tied a Syracuse Bowling Association record with a triplicate score of 258. He won the Syracuse Bowling Association All-Events champion in 1988 and in 2002 he was on the championship team of the Lilac City Tournament. Twice he had the high average in the City League.
