Stanley was a star for many years on several top ranking Classic League teams including Congress Beer and the Van Wie Chevrolet team. In 1963, he paired with Joe Reale to win the New York State Doubles championship and also paired with Joe Reale to win the Van Wie Doubles. In 1955, he and Andy Piraino won the Syracuse Bowling Association Doubles event
