Dominick Cefalo has been one of the most formidable competitors in modern Syracuse Association history. He has consistently had over a 200 average for over thirty years. For twenty years, he has bowled in the A.B.C. tournament with his best showing being a second place finish in the 1973 team event. Also he has a state team title to his credit in 1977 and a city team title in 1989. In 1972 he shot an 827 which toppled an association record which stood for forty years. Dominick is one of the few bowlers who are two time champions of the Herald Masters tournament and also has two second place finishes. On two occasions, he has been named “Bowler of the Year”.
