1976---outstanding performance

He was a member of the American Legion team which bowled in the national telegraphic tournament and won it. Other members of this team were S.B.A. Hall of Famers, Guy Tobey, Anthony Ciravolo, Arthur “Pat” Crowe, and Butch Bergett. In the same tournament, Ted was the singles champion with a 679 and he had a 737 in the team event. His high average was 203 in the Legion Business League and he averaged over 200 in the City League. Ted organized the Old Timers League, which has been a model for many other cities in the nation and also organized the Auto Dealers League. He was also a member of the Bowling Writers Association of America.
