Dick was a very good and well respected bowler in Syracuse for many years. He bowled in the Post-Standard Classic League and the City League for years while carrying averages between 195 and 210. Dick was a member of a City League championship team as well as being a member of the Association team champions on two occasions. He also was a member of the championship team in the Schenectady Press Tournament and on several occasions won a spot in the local Professional Bowlers tournament which used to be held in Syracuse. Dick had many 700 series and two 300 games to his credit.
