Ed bowled in many classic leagues including the City League, the Post-Standard League and the Greater Syracuse League. He bowled in 23 A.B.C. tournaments and in 1938 helped his team to finish in 25th place. In 1957, he teamed with Paul Jacuk to win the Van Wie Doubles. They broke the six year domination of Marty and Andy Piraino II.
