HAROLD “Dodger” WILLIAMS
1996---outstanding performance

In 1926, he led the City League in average with 197 which at the time was the highest average ever recorded in that league. He was named to the Herald All-Star team on four different occasions. Harold bowled with some of the most powerful bowling teams in Syracuse during that era. They included North Side Tire, Roman’s, Byrne Seiberling and Tracy’s Royal Cords. He finished in third place in the New York State Singles in 1926 and was a member of the Association team champions in 1927.
