Frank is an eight time New York State champion, twice in the team event, four doubles titles, the singles in 1944 and the all-events in 1936. His high average was 226 and in 1937, he paired with Andy Piraino to place fifth in the A.B.C. tournament doubles event. During the New York State Doubles event, he paired with Vic Giromini to win in 1947,49,and 50, and in 1948 they finished in second place.
