Article VI - Qualifications of Candidates
1. Outstanding Bowler: Must be at least 50 years of age (with at least 15 years of league bowling in SBA) .
2. Meritorious Service: Must be at least 50 years of age (with at least 15 years of service in SBA) .
3. Veteran Bowler: If deceased when nominated, a prospective nominee must have had at least 15 years of bowling or meritorious service in SBA to be considered.
4.

The candidates may be selected for their outstanding bowling ability or for their meritorious contributions to the promotion of the game of bowling.

5.

A written copy of the candidate's record must be submitted before any nominee will be considered by the Hall of Fame Committee. Prospective candidates may nominate themselves, be nominated by others or be asked to submit a resume by a member of the Hall of Fame Committee.

ARTICLE VII CATEGORIES

1. Outstanding Bowler
2. Meritorious Service
3. Veteran Bowler (Outstanding or Meritorious)--This category is reserved for members deceased when nominated, becoming deceased after nomination and before election or candidates on the Outstanding Bowler or Meritorious Service ballot for ten years and not elected or dropped from the ballot by the Hall of Fame Committee.
