Joe served as President of the Syracuse Bowling association during the 1963-64 season. While bowling in the A.B.C. tournaments, he carried a 183 average for more than thirty tournaments. He was a member of the fifth place team in the 1947 A.B.C. tournament. Joe was President of the largest traveling league in the United States, the 2nd Ward Businessmen’s League. He helped to organize the Syracuse Junior Bowling Association. On two occasions, Joe was a member of the association team champions, in1939 & 1940.
