Rocky served on the Board of Directors of the Syracuse Bowling Association for over thirty-five years. In the 1983-84 season, he served as President. For many years, he organized full squads of bowlers to attend the New York State Senior tournament. He served as secretary of the Crucible Recreation Bowling League for fifteen years and also was secretary of the Greater Syracuse Traveling League for eight years.
