Berard W. Sarno Sr.
1968 meritorious service

Bert was one of the most liked men in the Syracuse Bowling Association. He was a really funny person who would often give speeches and tell his never ending array of funny stories. He served as Secretary of the Syracuse Bowling Association longer than any other person. Bert served two different terms as Secretary, from 1936 until 1955 and again 1965 until 1982 when he passed away. He was a very instrumental figure in getting the 1935 A.B.C. tournament to come to Syracuse.
