Guy was the Secretary of the Syracuse Bowling Association from 1954 until his death in 1965. He worked on many City and State tournaments and also assisted in conducting the popular and prestigious Herald Masters tournament. The highlight of his tournament record was the 3,313 teams that entered the 1961 New York State tournament.
